Located in the North and 14 kilometers away from Duong Dong town, just a few more kilometers from Ong lang beach, you reach Cua Can fishing village. There are many wooden bridges that only allow people and motorbike go through. This village seems rather small but this is the resting place and food supplement for tourists before heading to all the beaches in the North islands.
If you want to some adventure experience, you can ask the local villagers to take you on a boat to Cua Can river. This is the perfect way to get to know the whole place and the daily life of the people. Especially, in the sunset, you can sit and watch the boat coming home from a long day in a few moments before the light goes down. There is something interesting about the village is the beautiful sand dune, behind it there is a small path along the sea that lead straight to the North Ganh Dau and dai beach.
From ninh Duong Dong town about 20 kilometer more to the Northeast, right below Ham Ninh mountain is the village with the same name. This place is no stranger to the visitors as this is one of the most popular spots for tourists. When you come to Ham Ninh village, you will get to visit the old architecture house that mostly made of trees, or perhaps you can spend a night there in some homestay. You can get to know the daily life of the villagers, can actually get to diving underwater to catch pearl mussels, sea cucumbers and fishing.
In the evening on Ham Ninh beach, you can watch the whole island and far away is Hai Tac islands and Nghe island. And not to mention the famous specialty of Ham Ninh is centinel-crab. Just go to the sea market, buy yourself some delicious sentinel-crabs, you can have it cook in a local restaurant with right fee and have one spectecular meal with friends and family.
Ganh Dau village is rather small. And if you come to this fishing village, you will a familiar cosy feeling like and country village with an ordinary life style and mostly living based on sea products. Just walking in Ganh Dau, you will see hundreds of dried small fish hung around people's houses, and ready to make into Phu Quoc notorious fish source that like no others. And you can even join the fishermen heading to the sea and catch those fish, too.
Close by Ganh Dau is Cambodia sea just a few kilometers away. And in the peaceful and quiet beach of Ganh Dau, you can see the whole view of many islands close by, some of them are now available to visit.
