After walking around in the town you get hungry and then it is time to try the street food in Sapa. Stop in Ham Rong Street and discover the grilling world here. Of them, Cai Meo wrapped with beef, pineapple and Pili Pies are the specialties of this mountainous region.

Sapa Food Court is a famous dining place in Sapa with many restaurants, cheap eateries specializing in serving specialties of the Northwest and Sapa. When coming here you should not forget to eat the dishes made from bananas and river fish because this is a delicious food from Sapa. The meat is delicious but not soft as the animals raised in the plains.

Thang Co is one of the most famous dishes of the H’mong in the northwest of Vietnam. “Thang co” is usually made for festivals or special days. On the weekend, it is sold at the market. Cap nach is special kind of food from Sapa. The pigs are not locked up but they have to find their food by themselves. Every cuisine is delicious and hard to refuse.
Smoking-shelf meat is a traditional food of the highland people, and is made from buffalo, beef, horse or pig which is hanged at the smoking shelf to be dried. In addition, you should also enjoy the barbecue from vegetables, potatoes, eggs, meat, fish or sticky rice.
